Within their company, 42%* of working people know of at least one employee affected by cancer, while 33%* know of someone living with a chronic illness.
In the face of this reality, organizations need to address the issue.
According to the Cancer@Work Barometer “Cancer, Chronic Illnesses and Work in France”, conducted online by OpinionWay from June 4 to 11, 2024, among a nationally representative sample of 1,024 working people aged 15 and over, including an additional sample of 91 working people who are currently living with or have previously experienced cancer.

Signing the Cancer@Work Charter:
an act that puts into practice the commitment of your company
Signing the Charter is the first step for a company joining Cancer@Work as a member. It represents a commitment from the company’s leadership and all its employees, or from public-sector employees within local authorities.
By signing the Charter, the employer demonstrates its commitment to implementing concrete actions to promote the inclusion and continued employment of people directly or indirectly affected by illness.
By joining the Cancer@Work business association, you become part of a collective working together to move forward and develop an action plan tailored to your organization.

A letter of intent from your CEO and the membership form should be sent to contact@canceratwork.com.
Annual membership fee
Less than 200 employees : 1 000 €
From 201 to 1 500 employees: 5 000 €
From 1 501 to 5 000 employees : 8 000 €
More than 5 000 employees: 10 000 €
Administration, regional government, foundation or care center, non-profit organization : free amount
We will contact you upon receipt to discuss your motivations and ambitions; after validation of your membership by the Board of Directors , we will agree together on a date for the official signing of the Cancer@Work Charter .

The Inter-Company Connected Sports Challenge
“All together for Cancer@Work”
Every year in June, you have the opportunity to engage your employees in a unifying and supportive team Challenge .
Based on the practice of walking, running and cycling, and hosted on a mobile application, the Challenge allows us to raise funds to finance our solidarity actions .
In 2026, nearly 6,500 employees from 30 companies mobilized. Their participation will support the return to work of 120 people affected by cancer or chronic illness in 2027 through Job Meetings .
